GETTING THERE
Driving
From Christchurch it is a five to five and a half hour drive to the Bach.
From Nelson it is around one hour driving depending on the time of year
If you are driving from Wellington, Picton is where you arrive on the ferry. From Picton it is a two hour drive to the Bach (depending on the time of year)
Flying
You can fly into Nelson from Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington daily. From the Nelson airport it is only 68km to Kaiteriteri and the Abel Tasman National Park.

Nearest Airport
Nelson airport is a 50 minute drive from the Bach.
There are a number of light plane and helicopter companies that operate between the Nelson and Motueka airports.

Motueka is the nearest major town with a population of 7000 (15 mins from the Bach) Here you will find restaurants, banks, petrol stations, supermarkets.....
